Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided on the shelf in the bathroom.
Outdoor Dining
Tablecloths for the outdoor picnic tables are provided in the cabinet above the stove. Please feel free to use them during your stay.
Books & Games
We’ve left a collection of books and games for slow mornings, rainy afternoons, and cozy nights in. Please enjoy them while you’re here!

Private Trails & Deer Lick Falls
Explore Deer Lick
Everly House sits within a private community trail system with miles of wooded trails to explore. You can enjoy an easy walk through the woods, follow the creek, or make your way down to Deer Lick Falls.
Trail Difficulty
The trails are marked by difficulty: green = easy, blue = intermediate, and red = challenging. Much of the trail system is easy to explore, but the final trail down to Deer Lick Falls is rated challenging and includes a steep descent. It’s best suited for sure-footed hikers and may not be appropriate for young children or guests with limited mobility.
Before You Head Out
Take a screenshot of the trail map before you go—cell service can be spotty in the woods. Wear sturdy shoes, allow plenty of daylight, and please stay on marked trails.
Before You Go
We hope you’ve had a wonderful stay! Before heading home, we’d appreciate your help with a few quick things:
Dishes
Please wash any dishes you’ve used and return them to their places.
Towels
Please start one load of used towels before you leave. Wash on warm/hot using the normal cycle. Laundry detergent is provided on the bathroom shelf.
Trash
Please place all trash in the outdoor trash cans and make sure the lids are completely secured. Our woodland neighbors are very interested in your leftovers.
Personal Belongings
Take one last look around for chargers, clothes, toiletries, and anything else you may have brought with you.
Check-out
Please be out by 10:00 AM, so Wendy & Crew have plenty of time to get Everly ready for our next guests.
